Comfort Hotel Nagoya Fushimi

I was kinda surprised by the value I got for my money-the rooms were spacious and the beds super comfortable. The location is fantastic, with easy access to the subway and countless shops, and the staff were always friendly and helpful.

The food for breakfast could benefit from more variety over longer stays.

The location was particularly good walk from a castle and a museum. Easily reached Yabaton Yabacho Honten, located within easy walking distance of the hotel, had lunch/dinner there.

I had been eager to visit the Nagoya City Science Museum due to its fascinating exhibits. I chose the Comfort Hotel specifically for its proximity to this landmark, and I was pleasantly surprised by the complimentary breakfast that was served daily. The breakfast was a great way to start my day, and I appreciated the convenience of the nearby Fushimi Station, which made getting around so much easier. The staff were also kind and helpful, which added to the overall positive experience.

The cleaning could have been a bit better. There was some dust around the fridge, and there was a strange smell in the bathroom. Plus, if you go to breakfast late, you might find that some items are already gone, so get there early if you want the full selection!

The bed was super uncomfortable, and the thin pillow didn't help at all. I barely fit my suitcase in the tiny room, and the constant noise from the air conditioning kept me tossing and turning all night. Total lack of sleep!

I recently stayed for four nights on a business trip, and I was thoroughly pleased with my experience. The location is convenient, with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. I enjoyed the spacious room, complete with unique amenities like a foot pillow and an ice pillow. The friendly staff went above and beyond, allowing us to store our bags before check-in. the big bathroom featured an impressive tech toilet, and the room's AC kept everything cool.

I can recommend this hotel.

the hotel is in a fantastic spot, just a 20-minute walk from Nagoya Castle and surrounded by shops and eateries, making it easy to explore the city on foot and enjoy some lovely park views nearby.

the location was fantastic, just a pleasant 20-minute walk to the castle and close to metro stations. the rooms, though compact, were well-equipped and designed for comfort, featuring thoughtful amenities like an air ionizer that helped with allergies. breakfast was good, offering a satisfying mix of continental and asian options. the reception staff were friendly and accommodating, even allowing us to store our bags post-checkout, which made our visit even more enjoyable.

I really enjoyed my stay, especially the spacious twin room and the delicious breakfast spread. There’s a cozy lounge area perfect for relaxation, and a lovely bar to unwind in too. Just a heads up, they don’t refill the breakfast buffet much after 8:30 am, so get there early! 😊
